Evolutionary Local Selection Algorithms are an evolutionary search method that enforces diversity among solutions by limiting competition to the sharing of resources. In the ELSA project, we are studying the effectiveness of this approach in a number of applications:

  • Feature subset selection for prediction
  • Data mining for marketing
  • Clustering
• Ensemble learning
