• Use a Part-Of-Speech tagger to generate sets of noun phrases and verb phrases for the question and for each sentence of the document

• Rank sentences by a composite measure to the question

  • Number of noun phrase matches
  • Number of verb phrase matches
  • Question taxonomy compatibility
